Dungeness crab recipe passed to chef Enrique Alvarez from his teacher in the 70s. With a mix of celery, onions, lemon juice, parsley, and tabasco and other seasonings, this crab cake is served with poached eggs and a rich hollandaise sauce.
Monterey’s newest neighborhood coffeehouse serves breakfast all day and lunch until 2pm. The pecan French toast has quickly become one of the house favorites and is the perfect dish to enjoy as you take in views of Lake El Estero.
