The annual Hartnell Student Art Show for 2026 is now on display at the Hartnell College Art Gallery, showcasing a range of multimedia student works created in Hartnell art classes. Expect drawing, sculpture—represented by Justin Heart’s piece, shown above—painting, photography, mixed-media and digital art. “The exhibition reflects the vibrancy of the college’s Visual & Performing Arts program and provides students with professional exhibition experience in a gallery setting,” according to an announcement about the show. The gallery is located on campus at Visual & Performing Arts Center (Building J), 411 Central Ave., Salinas. Gallery hours are 10:15am-4:30pm on Mondays, 9am-6pm Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9am-2:30pm on Wednesdays and 12:30-3:30pm on Friday. On display until Friday, May 1. [AP]
