Before its thermal waterfalls and plunge pools were featured in Sunset and American Spa magazines, Refuge was Monterey County’s favorite place to heat up (in the cedar sauna, eucalyptus steam bath or sparkling hot pools with thermal waterfalls), cool down (in plunge pools the temperature of the Pacific or an icy river), relax (overlooking the Santa Lucia Preserve) and repeat. Now it’s a world-class destination spa, and we’re lucky enough to have it here in our backyard.
