You gotta love Chef Tony Baker’s cheeky fun ways: “The people that vote decide nothing,” he quips, “the people who count the votes decide everything!” Such a talented jokester, but his restaurant professionalism can be seen through his carefully created menu, their exquisite bar and extensive wine list and ultra-attentive staff. Baker borrows Samuel Goldwyn’s famous quote, “the harder we work, the luckier we get.” (OK, the actual quote is “I” but Baker changed it to “we”.) But the truth, he says, is, “We love our customers. Why wouldn’t they love us back?”
