Tarpy’s is a perennial winner, a seriously fun place for serious business munching with a perfect location close to the airport and right off the highway that connects the Peninsula to Salinas. But the food is sheerly delish, with everything from enormous fresh salads to a variety of small plates (bacon-wrapped Brussels sprouts? blistered salmon belly buns?!) and Chef Todd Fisher’s quirky take on Frito pie with buffalo chili.
