KEITH HADDOW | Military | Seaside

A: I want to see Crazy Rich Asians. Being half-Asian, I think it’s important to have Asians cast in cinema. I want to support it.

All In: My next orders are for Sasabo, Japan, so immersion into that culture and language.

MUHAMMAD KHALEIL | Defense Language Institute chair | Marina

A: Language Day at DLI. You can see different cultures, dances, clothes. It’s a good opportunity to see the world.

Play It Up: Trying to form a band reflecting Sudanese culture, with traditional African dancing. I play lute.

JEREMY LARSON | Military | Seaside

A: I’m studying Korean arts and culture, food and dancing.

Family Tree: Genealogy; looking at my Swedish family’s ancestors, culture and language.
