Follow-up: What extreme sports do you admire, but would never want to actually do?

Asked at Broadway Avenue in Seaside.

MOLIE BLACK | Student | San Juan Bautista

A: I’m a huge fan of the National Park system. It’s really interesting to see the work that is done to preserve these places.

Run Time: Ultramarathoning. I don’t know how people could do that – eight hours on end of just running by yourself. The mental endurance for sure.

ELAURA HASTINGS | Student | Seaside

A: I’m a huge fan of pickles, spicy food and mustard. I can eat mustard on anything.

Sitting Out: I respect sports and what they contribute to society, but it’s not something I’ve found myself drawn to in any way.

J.T. SHATRAW | Pawn Broker | Salinas

A: Sports. I was raised watching and playing sports my whole life.

Falling Down: Skydiving. I’m extremely afraid of heights. It looks fun, but not for me.
