Born in Austria, I rose from humble beginnings to become a global icon through my relentless pursuit of excellence, whether in bodybuilding, Hollywood, or public service. As “The Terminator,” I have been a symbol of unstoppable determination and the power of resilience. Now, I’m bringing that same drive and focus to the beautiful town of Carmel-by-the-Sea.
As the former Governor of California, I led the state through challenging times, focusing on environmental protection, economic growth, and bipartisan cooperation. I’ve always believed in getting things done—no excuses, no compromises on core principles. My experience as a leader in the world's fifth-largest economy taught me how to cut through red tape, build consensus, and deliver results.
Now, I’m ready to use that experience to serve the people of Carmel-by-the-Sea. This town is a jewel of the California coast, and I’m here to ensure that it stays that way—protected, prosperous, and prepared for the future.
My Plans
As your mayor, I will bring my experience as a leader, a fighter, and yes, a “Terminator” to Carmel-by-the-Sea. My focus will be on ensuring that our town remains as beautiful, safe, and vibrant as ever. Here’s how I plan to do it:
Relentless Action for Our Environment: I’ll protect Carmel’s pristine environment with the same tenacity I’ve shown in every challenge. From defending our coastline to promoting green energy, I’ll make sure that Carmel stays beautiful for generations to come. “I’ll be back”—and so will clean air, clean water, and green spaces.
Economic Strength: I’ll terminate bureaucracy that gets in the way of our local businesses. I will support initiatives that attract sustainable tourism while preserving the charm and character that makes Carmel unique. We will not only survive—we will thrive.
Uncompromising Public Safety: As your mayor, I’ll ensure that Carmel-by-the-Sea remains one of the safest communities in California. I’ll work closely with law enforcement to keep our streets secure, our homes protected, and our town welcoming to all.
Efficient Government: I’m here to get things done. No more delays, no more endless debates. I’ll cut through the red tape and make sure that your government works for you—quickly and effectively. After all, time is of the essence.
Protecting Our Heritage: Carmel has a rich history and a unique culture that must be preserved. I will ensure that any development or policy changes are in line with our town’s values and traditions. “Hasta la vista” to anything that threatens our way of life.
